UNENDING BATTLING AGAINST THE DEVIL AS CHRISTIANS.
Battling the enemy is part of our Christian lives. We are constantly at war with the devil; always trying to pull us down__(Ephesians 6:12). But we are encouraged to stand firm in the Lord and to put on the full armor of God. Many are the afflictions that will befall us as followers of Christ and we are to win over them.
Physical battles are fought with physical missiles while spiritual battles are fought spiritually. As a believer, anytime you fight your enemy physically he sees you as a loser because you are without a weapon. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 says, For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ(NKJV).
The weapons we use as Christians are not carnal but mighty through God. Let me give you this key: THE ONE WHOM THE DEVIL FEARS MOST IS THE PRAYERFUL CHRISTIAN; because he operates in the power and authority given to him by God and is always connected to God.
We are to be strong and courageous in trials__(Joshua 1:9); and to consistently pray__(1 Thessalonians 5:17), in order to overcome the devil.
Meditate on the word, live by it and pray all the time for this is our weapon to conquer.
May you be quickened and begin to walk in your authority. Amen
